<p>The New York City Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) seeks to build a welcoming and sustainable new recreation center to serve Central Brooklyn as a hub for learning, recreation, community and civic engagement.  The new facility will be located at Nostrand Playground in the Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn.  The project will include construction of a new recreation center of approximately 65,000 SF to house programming for all ages, including multipurpose rooms and community activity spaces, a gymnasium, walking track, indoor swimming pool, fitness and weight-training rooms, teaching kitchen, and media room.  Support spaces will include locker rooms, administrative offices, and restrooms.  Site work will be required to integrate the facility into the existing park and surrounding neighborhood and may include outdoor areas for passive or active recreation. </p>

<p>NYCHA, by issuing this RFP, seeks proposals (Proposals) from investigation firms (the Proposers) to provide NYCHA with investigative services to investigate claims for personal injury (Personal Injury Claims) and claims for property damage (Property Damage Claims) against NYCHA, and to adjust certain Property Damage Claims and claims arising under Regulation 68 of the New York State Insurance Law (the No-Fault Law), as detailed more fully within Section II of this RFP (collectively, the Services).</p><p>NYCHAs goal is to establish a panel of firms (the Panel) capable of delivering high quality investigative and adjustment services in a cost-efficient manner. The Panel will work under the direction of the Tort Division of NYCHAs Law Department (NYCHA In-House Counsel) and will provide services for NYCHA In-House Counsel and outside defense counsel (Defense Counsel) retained by NYCHA to represent it in the defense of Personal Injury Claims and Property Damage Claims.</p><p>A non-mandatory virtual Proposers' conference ('Proposers' Conference') will be held on May 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., via Microsoft Teams. Proposers Conference Teams Meeting information: 646-838-1534, Conference ID: 823284171#. Although attendance is not mandatory at the Proposers' Conference, it is strongly recommended that all interested Proposers attend and RSVP to NYCHAs Coordinator at rfp.procurement@nycha.nyc.gov by no later than May 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM.
