Key components of a BMS, which is composed of hardware, software, and networking components that monitor and control a buildings infrastructure, include BMS/DDC servers; operator workstations and laptops; control panels; supervisory and field controllers; system control end devices (including all control valves, control dampers, and actuators); thermostats, and power supplies. All assignments shall be performed for the CUNY sites and facilities located on 25 Campuses throughout the five boroughs of New York City. <p style='text-align:justify'>New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) is seeking a Consultant Team to provide Construction Management Services for the Fifth Avenue Corridor Public Realm Project. The Project site spans approximately 21 blocks from 40th St to 61st St and will prioritize pedestrians with wider sidewalks as well as safe and secure pedestrian crossings. The scope requires the demolition of the existing roadway, streetscape and utilities along 5th Ave between 40th St (Bryant Park) and 61st St (Central Park).  The roadway will be reduced from five travel lanes to three travel lanes to accommodate enlarged sidewalks, narrowed crosswalks, street trees, lighting, furnishings and plantings. The new roadway will include a central dedicated bus lane, a western curb lane for bus passenger pick-up/drop-off and right turns, and an eastern lane designated for general vehicle traffic. The concession will be operated pursuant to a license issued by Parks; no leasehold or other proprietary right will be offered. </span></span></span></p><p style='text-align:justify'><span style='font-size:11pt'><span style='font-family:Calibri,sans-serif'><span style='font-family:' georgia',serif'=''>At this time, it is neither practicable nor advantageous to award this concession by competitive sealed proposals or competitive sealed bids due to the existing conditions at WWII Veterans War Memorial Ice Skating Rink, which require remediation and would restrict the number of years that could presently be offered as a concession term. Applicants should propose program models that provide intensive support and investment for participants in the identified high-risk population. Services and treatments should aim to address root causes of violence such as trauma and poverty-induced barriers to stable employment, education, housing, and community engagement.  BXDA encourages meaningful partnerships with community-based organizations, to leverage their unique expertise. Services and treatments should aim to address root causes of violence such as trauma and poverty-induced barriers to stable employment, education, housing, and community engagement.  BXDA encourages meaningful partnerships with community-based organizations, to leverage their unique expertise. <p>New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), acting on behalf of the City of New York (the City) and in partnership with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), is pleased to release a request for proposals (RFP) seeking proposals from qualified parties (Respondents) for the purchase of the fee interest and/or development rights associated with all or a portion of a City-owned site located at 470 Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn, NY (Block 5024, Lot 28 and a portion of Lot 37) (the Site).</p><p>On August 21, 2024, New York City Mayor Eric Adams signed Executive Order 43: Prioritizing Housing Production and Accelerating the Production of Housing on City Sites, compelling the City to identify public land suitable for new housing development to address the Citys housing crisis with a moonshot goal of building 500,000 homes over the next decade. As part of this effort, respondents have a unique opportunity to develop a mixed-income residential project in Prospect Lefferts Gardens.</p><p>NYCEDC plans to select a respondent on the basis of factors stated in the RFP which include, but are not limited to, program and design, financial and schedule feasibility, respondent qualifications and experience, and economic impact.</p><p>It is the policy of NYCEDC to comply with all federal, state and City laws and regulations which prohibit unlawful discrimination because of race, creed, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, marital status and other protected categories and to take affirmative action in working with contracting parties to ensure certified Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs) share in the economic opportunities generated by NYCEDCs projects and initiatives.</p><p>This project has Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) participation goal of thirty percent (30%), and all respondents to the RFP will be required to submit an M/WBE Participation Proposal with their response. <p>New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) invites qualified Special Inspection Agencies (Consultants) to submit proposals to provide OnCall Special Inspections and related services for various NYCEDC projects.</p><p>Special Inspections replaced Controlled Inspections for all construction projects filed on or after July 1, 2008. Under the New York City Building Code (NYC Building Code) and the Rules of the City of New York (RCNY), certain materials, operations, and equipment must be inspected or tested to verify compliance with applicable code requirements. Special Inspections may only be performed by Special Inspectors employed by a Department of Buildings (DOB)approved Special Inspection Agency.</p><p>All required inspections and tests will be conducted by a Special Inspection Agency retained by NYCEDC. The selected Consultants will be expected to perform Special Inspection services as specified in, and in accordance with, individual Project Assignments issued during the Contract Term. These Project Assignments may involve various NYCEDC construction, renovation, or rehabilitation projects located throughout New York City. NYCEDC anticipates that the required services may include inspections across a range of disciplines as defined by the NYC Building Code and associated DOB requirements.</p><p>Through this Request for Proposals (RFP), NYCEDC seeks to enter into contracts with one or more qualified and experienced Special Inspection Agencies capable of providing timely, On-Call Special Inspections and related services on an as-needed basis (the Services).</p><p>NYCEDC plans to select a consultant on the basis of factors stated in the RFP which include, but are not limited to: the quality of the proposal, experience of key staff identified in the proposal, experience and quality of any subcontractors proposed, demonstrated successful experience in performing services similar to those encompassed in the RFP, and the proposed fee.</p><p>It is the policy of NYCEDC to comply with all federal, state and City laws and regulations which prohibit unlawful discrimination because of race, creed, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, marital status and other protected category and to take affirmative action in working with contracting parties to ensure certified Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs) share in the economic opportunities generated by NYCEDCs projects and initiatives.
