<p>New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), acting on behalf of the City of New York (the City) and in partnership with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), is pleased to release a request for proposals (RFP) seeking proposals from qualified parties (Respondents) for the purchase of the fee interest and/or development rights associated with all or a portion of a City-owned site located at 470 Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn, NY (Block 5024, Lot 28 and a portion of Lot 37) (the Site).</p><p>On August 21, 2024, New York City Mayor Eric Adams signed Executive Order 43: Prioritizing Housing Production and Accelerating the Production of Housing on City Sites, compelling the City to identify public land suitable for new housing development to address the Citys housing crisis with a moonshot goal of building 500,000 homes over the next decade. <p>New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to identify qualified Fund Administrators to manage three community-centered funds (1) the Manhattan Cruise Terminal Community Fund (MCTCF); (2) the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal Community Fund (BCTCF), and (3) the Sunset Park Special Purpose Project Fund (SPPF). These funds are designed to support projects identified by community members and may include, but are not limited to, environmental stewardship, public realm improvements, and workforce development initiatives in the Hells Kitchen, Sunset Park, and Red Hook neighborhoods of New York City.</p><p>The selected Fund Administrator(s) will be responsible for leading and managing transparent project solicitation and selection processes, overseeing Fund disbursement, implementing robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks, and memorializing funding priorities in collaboration with local stakeholders all through an inclusive community engagement process.</p><p>The MCTCF and BCTCF are financed through a $1 per passenger fee collected from cruise lines operating under exclusive berthing agreements. The SPPF is funded through a 5% set-aside of the annual gross rent derived from subleases at the South Brooklyn Marine Terminal (SBMT). NYCEDC anticipates approximately $1.3 million in total funds for MCTCF by the end of calendar year 2025, with disbursement amounts expected to range between $400,000 and $700,000 annually. For the BCTCF, total funds by the end of calendar year 2025 are expected to amount to $630,000. For the SPPF, total funds by the end of calendar year 2025 are expected to amount to approximately $860,000. The administration fee for the selected organization will be sourced from a portion of the respective Funds. <p>New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) invites firms to submit proposals for the design and implementation of mapping technologies to enable more efficient waterfront inspection.</p><p>NYCEDC is engaged in growing the drones and robotics industries in New York City by enabling pilot projects, expanding access to labs and R&D space, connecting startups with public sector challenges, and investing in workforce development. To further support this burgeoning industry  while addressing the core internal need of infrastructure inspection  NYCEDC seeks to award 2+ pilot contracts to enable the collection and analysis of (1) visual 360-degree panoramic imagery of the waterfront; (2) underwater imagery of infrastructure along the shoreline; (3) a tool that enables preventative maintenance through predictive analysis. The Division of Instructional and Information Technology (DIIT) manages the DOE's vast telecommunications infrastructure. This RFEI is issued to explore industry capabilities and inform a future procurement strategy to transition from aging digital PBX systems to a unified, resilient, and cost-effective VoIP
