Due to space limitations, we ask that no more than 2 representatives of your company attend in-person. <p>New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), on behalf of the City of New York, the Department of Small Business Services (SBS), invites firms to submit proposals for the development and ground lease of one or both of two sites in Mill Basin, Brooklyn, New York. These Sites are located in 2825 and 2732 Flatbush Avenue. Proposals should involve improvement of the Sites, which may include a marina that expands or replaces existing maritime infrastructure and/or construction of structures supporting commercial activity on the Mill Basin waterfront for long-term use.</p><p>NYCEDC is dedicated to expanding economic and recreational opportunities by developing its various assets, which include waterfront activation projects such as those sought in this Request for Proposals (RFP). Increasing access to the New York waterfront supports NYCEDC objectives of local economic growth and improved transport in the Citys waterways.</p><p>NYCEDC seeks firms experienced in commercial development, marine transport, or waterfront operations to propose uses that promote City initiatives on waterfront access and maritime operations, minimize environmental risks, and maximize economic value for the City. NYCEDC welcomes projects that include significant capital investments. <p>New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), acting on behalf of the City of New York (the City), is pleased to release this request for proposal (RFP) seeking proposals from qualified parties (collectively, Respondents, and, each a Respondent) for the development of an approximately 3.2 acre site (site AOU-2 or the Site) within the Hunts Point Distribution Center (Hunts Point FDC or FDC) in the Bronx.</p><p>Site AOU-2 is a rectangularly-shaped and vacant ~156,830 square feet property bordered by Food Center Drive to the south and Halleck Street to the west. The Site is situated directly adjacent to the south-west entrance of the Hunts Point FDC and approximately 1-mile driving distance from the Bruckner Expressway (I-278).</p><p>Through this RFP, NYCEDC is seeking Proposals for the development and operation of Site AOU-2 as a freight-focused electric vehicle (EV) and fleet charging facility that maximizes the number of medium- and heavy-duty (MHD) vehicles charging on site and a multi-purpose welcome center to serve as the entrance to the FDC and a centralized location for workforce development programming (the Project). Respondents may propose a strategy that accommodates light duty charging on the Site to maximize market viability while minimizing impacts to MHD vehicle charging access and activity. Respondents may partner with other entities.</p><p>A competitive response to this RFP must accomplish the following goals:</p><p> Develop Freight-Focused EV Charging Facilities on the Site</p><p> Develop Multi-Purpose Welcome Center and Workforce Development Hub</p><p> Address Environmental Justice Concerns, Especially Air Quality</p><p> Reduce Entry Barriers to Electrification for Current FDC Tenants</p><p> Create and Preserve Quality Jobs</p><p>It is the policy of NYCEDC to comply with all federal, state and City laws and regulations which prohibit unlawful discrimination because of race, creed, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, marital status and other protected categories and to take affirmative action in working with contracting parties to ensure certified Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprises (M/WBE) share in the economic opportunities generated by NYCEDCs projects and initiatives.</p><p>This project is being funded with Federal Highway Administration funds, through the United States Department of Transportation, and this project has Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goals. <p>The New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) is seeking a consultant team to provide Owners Representative consulting services to manage the design and construction of a new Science Park and Research Campus (SPARC) in Kips Bay. The SPARC Kips Bay Project will consist of approximately 756,200 gross square feet of new construction on the site, including: modern academic space for City University of New York, a New York Public Schools high school focused on health care and sciences, vibrant public spaces, a pedestrian bridge, and resiliency infrastructure.</p><p>NYCEDC plans to select a consultant on the basis of factors stated in the RFP which include, but are not limited to: the quality of the proposal, experience of key staff identified in the proposal, experience and quality of any subcontractors proposed, demonstrated successful experience in performing services similar to those encompassed in the RFP, ability to meet M/WBE Participation Goals, and the proposed fee.</p><p>It is the policy of NYCEDC to comply with all federal, state and City laws and regulations which prohibit unlawful discrimination because of race, creed, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, marital status and other protected category and to take affirmative action in working with contracting parties to ensure certified Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs) share in the economic opportunities generated by NYCEDCs projects and initiatives.
