<p>In order to meet the significant and continued resource needs of this population, NYC Health + Hospitals is seeking to contract with catering vendors.This includes, but is not limited to, crafting and delivering 3 culturally competent meals and snacks daily, within the NYC Department of Healths guidelines (Citys food guidelines) on nutrition and food safety; providing storage for food within specifications on a site-by-site basis; providing delicious, low cost food; attending all-hands vendor shift changeover meetings to relay food quantities; conducting food safety checks and ensuring food served is safe to consume during and after meal periods, such as for late-night diners; and providing catering staff during all meal services and, at a smaller staffing model, having catering staff on site 24/7.</p>

The loan fund will finance real estate pre-development, acquisition, and construction costs for private projects, projects administered by NYCEDC, and projects with the City of New York (the City).</p><p>To facilitate the Program, NYCEDC is seeking a consultant. The consultant will be required to raise additional capital, in addition to the $5 million NYCEDC is already committing, and to structure the monies of the fund. The consultant will also review, underwrite, and originate loans to Emerging Developers. The consultant will also be responsible for the management of the loans and marketing of the fund. <p>The City of New York (the City) plays a powerful role in paving the way to decarbonize the built environment and scale the clean construction industry by enabling innovative solutions, facilitating bold policies, and operating pilot programs to overcome implementation challenges in tangible ways.</p><p>To broaden awareness, identify new opportunities, and accelerate the utilization of mass timber practices in New York City, the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) is launching the New York City Mass Timber Studio (the Studio), a technical assistance program to support active mass timber development projects in the early phases of project planning and design. The Studio will be operated by NYCEDC and the Mayors Office of Climate and Environmental Justice in collaboration with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service and the Softwood Lumber Board (Softwood), with technical assistance provided by Wood Products Council, and advisory support from the NYC Department of Buildings and the American Institute of Architects New York.</p><p>Through this Request for Proposals (RFP), the Studio will identify applicants and select design teams involved in conducting early design phase mass timber technical and financial feasibility studies. The Studio will enable selected teams to explore and fully consider the environmental, economic, and structural benefits of mass timber building materials and practices. The Studio will be structured to engage local communities and stakeholders and provide multiple visibility platforms for best practice discussions, product presentations, study reports, and summary findings.</p><p>Broader awareness of the benefits and practices of mass timber construction will in turn result in more buildings constructed with mass timber materials. New demand can enable harvesters, fabricators, suppliers, and providers to expand their existing businesses, and create new local and regional business and job opportunities.</p><p>The Studio is funded in part by the USDA Forest Service Wood Innovations Program with contributions by NYCEDC and Softwood. Grants of approximately $25,000 will be awarded to selected teams to support project specific mass timber analysis and design work. New York State Education Law, through the 1971 Hecht-Calandra Act, mandates that admissions to the Specialized High Schools be determined by a single competitive examination.</p><p>The Specialized High Schools Admissions Test (SHSAT) is designed to satisfy the aforementioned state mandate. It is meant to assess some of the knowledge and skills that students have learned through middle school. The assessment covers high-level mathematics and English language arts (ELA) knowledge for students who have completed 7th or 8th grade, and the test will take no more than three (3) hours, including directions, to complete. Students may be tested at their home schools during the school day or on weekends, with separate morning and afternoon sessions on both Saturday and Sunday.</p><p>The successful proposer will provide the content and platform for a CAT as well as a paper-based version of the test for a small number of test-takers who cannot sit for the computer-adaptive version because of a disability. The successful proposer will also provide all ancillary materials related to the development, production, delivery, administration, scanning, scoring, reporting, and preparation for the SHSAT for both versions of the test. For the purposes of this RFP, the term computerized adaptive testing (CAT) refers to a digital exam that dynamically sequences questions in order to identify a reliable score for the students ability in fewer total questions than a fixed-length paper-based version of the exam. <p>The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (Department or DOHMH) seeks a Contractor to provide a qualified pilot to operate a helicopter, an Airbus Model H125 (AS350 B3, Year of Manufacture: 2019) or any other make/model secured by DOHMH (the Helicopter), conduct aerial larviciding on marshes, wetlands and residential areas, calibrate aerial pesticide applicator/ broadcaster (Dry Application System: Isolair 4500 - H125 Broadcaster, and Wet Application System: Isolair 3900-350B2 Sprayer, or any other make/model) using standard calibration methods and procedures, pilot the helicopter for mosquito larval habitat surveys, pilot the helicopter for the distribution of oral rabies vaccination baits to wildlife in targeted areas of the city, and provide field logistics to DOHMH staff to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the aerial larviciding operation in New York City. <p>NYCHA, by issuing this RFP, seeks proposals (Proposals) from qualified independent certified public accounting firms (the Proposers) to provide NYCHA with multidisciplinary internal audit services and advice including risk identification, analysis and mitigation measures, and to provide assurance to NYCHA on its governance, risk management and control processes, respectively, as detailed more fully within Section II of this RFP (collectively, the Services).</p><p>The release date of this RFP is September 11, 2023 (the Release Date).</p><p>A non-mandatory Proposers conference (Proposers Conference) will be hosted online via Microsoft Teams on September 18, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. Proposers Conference Meeting Information: 646-838-1534, Conference ID: 984800457#. Although attendance is not mandatory at the Proposers Conference, it is strongly recommended that all interested Proposers attend. Proposers who wish to attend must RSVP by e-mail to NYCHAs Coordinator by no later than 4:00 P.M. on September 15, 2023, and NYCHAs Coordinator will provide log-in information. NYCHA additionally recommends that Proposers e-mail questions in advance of the Proposers Conference to NYCHAs Coordinator by no later than 12:00 P.M. on September 15, 2023. NYCHA will upload all questions and answers to iSupplier.</p><p>If a Proposer seeks a full or partial waiver from complying with the M/WBE Programs utilization requirements set forth in Section IV(1)(o) then Proposer shall email the RFP Coordinator the NYCHA Application for Waiver of M/WBE Utilization Goal (Attachment H-1) by October 3, 2023 (the M/WBE Waiver Submission Deadline). See Section IV(1)(o) for details.</p><p>Proposals must be successfully submitted into iSupplier in final form no later than 2:00 P.M. on October 10, 2023 (the Proposal Submission Deadline). Proposals that are saved in iSupplier as a draft but not successfully submitted will not be considered. Proposers should refer to Section IV(2) of this RFP for details on Proposal submission requirements.</p><p>The anticipated award date of the Agreement to the Selected Proposer is on or about January 2024.</p><p>All times stated above are Eastern Standard Time (EST).</p><p>Proposer shall electronically upload a single .pdf containing ALL components of the Proposal into iSupplier by 2PM on the Proposal Submission Deadline. NYCHA will NOT accept hardcopy Proposals. The Proposal shall not include embedded documents or proprietary file extensions. NYCHA will not accept Proposals via e-mail, fax, or mail.</p><p>Instructions for registering for iSupplier can be found at http://www1.nyc.gov/site/nycha/business/isupplier-vendor-registration.page .</p><p>After Proposer registers for iSupplier, it typically takes 24 to 72 hours for Proposers iSupplier profile to be approved.</p><p>It is Proposers sole responsibility to complete iSupplier registration and submit its Proposal before the Proposal Submission Deadline. NYCHA is not responsible for delays caused by technical difficulty or caused by any other occurrence.</p>

<p>DOB is seeking qualified vendors to provide sidewalk level pedestrian protection designs. The term of the contract shall be for Three (3) years, with 1year renewal option.
