<p>The project Scope of Work Is for the citywide decommissioning of monitoring/ recovery wells as required by 6 NYCRR part 360, Environmental Conservation Law Article 23 and New York State Department of Environmental Conservation CP  43 policy at various locations in all Five (5) Boroughs as shown in Exhibit A: Location of Wells  AND Installation of water wells at various locations in all Five (5) Boroughs of New York City. </p><p>DECOMMISSIONING METHODS  A. The two primary well decommissioning methods are: 1. Grouting in-place. 2. Perforating overdrill. B. In a complex situation, one or more decommissioning procedures may be used for different intervals of the same well. WELL INSTALLATION The wells may be constructed using hollow stem auger, hydraulic reverse rotary, or cable tool (casing hammer) methods. Alternate Construction: Well construction methods other than those described above shall be permitted only after acceptance in writing by THE AUTHORITY. Acceptance of alternate well construction details does not relieve the Contractor of the responsibility to meet all water quality and quantity requirements of this contract. The minimum borehole diameter shall be two inches greater than the well diameter. Contractor shall ensure that adequate space is available for proper emplacement of the filter pack, bentonite seal and grout. Construction of the monitoring wells must be accomplished without the use of any drilling mud of any type. When reverse rotary drilling is approved, an organic polymer and water drilling fluid may be used. Organic polymer drilling mud may not be used during final construction of the monitoring wells but may be used for preliminary construction of a smaller borehole if all such materials will be reamed out during construction of the final monitoring well. </p><p>A non-mandatory virtual Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at 11:00 AM, and will be conducted remotely via Microsoft Teams meeting. However, accessing relevant and meaningful food resources in New York City can be challenging, particularly for patients with technology, language, and literacy barrier. In 2021, NYC Health + Hospitals launched the Food Navigator program with the aim of providing an innovative one-stop shop that easily and reliably connects patients experiencing food insecurity to relevant and appropriate resources. The program is the largest in scale of its kind and offers connection to a broad range of resources, such as SNAP assistance, emergency food, home-delivered meals, and tailored programs to manage chronic disease. NYC Health + Hospitals seeks a vendor to continue to operate a hybrid on-site/virtual Food Navigation program with capacity to serve a minimum of 8,000-8,500 patients annually for three years. Food Navigators will assist patients referred to them by clinical providers and health system staff through screening, assessment, and connection to food resources in the patients community. The Social Determinants of Health team at NYC Health + Hospitals will serve as the central point of contact for the Food Navigator program for system-wide operations, performance management and reporting, capacity management, and overall strategy. <p>The New York City School Construction Authority (SCA) is seeking qualified bidders to fabricate and install high performing retrofit façade panels at various existing school buildings. Interested fabricator and installer shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and expertise, as required, to effectively perform delegated design services including but not limited to, panel design and engineering, detailed shop drawings, testing, fabrication, and installation of panelized wall system to meet the following performance requirements:</p><p>- Panels shall provide a wall enclosure effective R-Value of 30 with an integral air barrier that will be part of a continuous barrier system enclosing the entire building envelope. - Thermal breaks shall be avoided in panel construction and anchorage.</p><p>- Façade wall panels shall be supported on the existing building structure with anchorage designed by the fabricator.</p><p>- Wall panels shall be clad in materials to replicate the appearance of the existing façade and follow NY State Historic Preservation Office guidelines.</p><p>- Panels may include aluminum, thin brick, glass fiber reinforced concrete, and/or natural stone and shall be provided and installed by a single fabricator / installer regardless of the exterior finish.</p><p>- Panels shall incorporate high performance projecting windows meeting U-Value of 0.25 and achieving AW-80 and 12PSF water performance (entire panel) or better.</p><p>- Panels may be built and delivered to sites in large sections. However, final panel sizes may vary to suit site conditions. Panels may span between columns up to approximately 37 by 14apart; and</p><p>- Wall panels shall comply with applicable Building Codes, including NFPA 285 or contain no combustible materials.</p><p>- Typically the building(s) will remain occupied during construction</p><p>Please include the following in your response: a description of the system you are proposing, examples of similar projects using the proposed system, and why you feel the approach is suited to successfully achieve the objectives noted above.</p><p>Interested firms should respond by submitting their expression of interest no later than 2:00pm EST on March 31, 2023 via email to the contact listed.
