For each Intermediate facility (public or private transfer station, or WTE facility receiving DSNY dumps from refuse collection routes, including on shift or relay dumps): Facility name and full address, Contracted Tons Per Day, Avg Delivered Tons Per Day, Total loads/calendar year, Inner City Facility indicator, Price Per Ton
For each intermediate facility, a list of one or more disposal sites receiving exports of DSNY origin refuse. Disposal sites include: landfill, WTE facility, or other: Tons/Day by disposal site, Disposal site name, address, state, zip; One way miles from Intermediate facility to disposal site; Truck or rail transport mode; if applicable, Hudson river crossings mode (Selkirk, Goethals, GWB, etc.)
DSNY maintains this dataset compiled annually by calendar year (CY), and fiscal year (FY). I am requesting an annually updated dataset by both CY and FY for CY 2018 – 2022; and FY 2018-2021, with future CY’s and FY’s to be added to the dataset.
I have a template and am ready to discuss this data request in more detail with appropriate parties.
Where does NYC garbage go? In what quantities, at what frequency, over what distances, to which destinations, through with neighborhoods, and what happens at end. I seek quantified, concrete responses and not general description.
