We are requesting daily crime data across New York City from 2015 to 2017. We are aware that there are recent versions of these data, accessible through the NYPD Compstat 2.0 interactive website and weekly reports but we would like access to these data reported from the beginning of 2015 (1/1/2015) to the end of 2017. While we would be happy to receive data from all precincts, we are specifically looking from data from the following precincts: 26, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 52, 61, 66, 67, 68, 70, 71, 72, 73, 75, 77, 81, 84, 88, 94, 100, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109, 110, 111, 112, 113, 114, 115
The *** has run a *** funded study examining the sleep, behavior, and experiences of high school students to understand developmental outcomes and differences across racial/ethnic groups. We would like to further this exploration by examining the relationship between sleep duration and quality and crime rates and incidents in participants’ neighborhoods during the time frame of data collection. Our research question is: How does crime and other such related incidents affect adolescent sleep?
