Titled Neighborhood Sales Summary. It lists 1, 2, and 3 family homes along with number of sales, minimum sales price, average sale price, median sale price, and maximum sales price as the columns. The rows are the 5 different boroughs. I have the data for 2017 and 2009, but I need the data going back as far as it is recorded.
How to analyze gentrification trends by looking at housing data, specifically the increase in median sales price. I am an economics student at *** working on my senior inquiry project.
Response
The data that is available for neighborhood sales summary goes back to 2005. The datasets are posted on the portal but differently from those for 2009 - 2018.
For 2005 - 2008, there is a separate dataset for each borough and the naming convention is, Summary of Neighborhood Sales for borough for Class 1-, 2- and 3-Family homes - yyyy. An example is, Summary of Neighborhood Sales for Manhattan for Class 1-, 2- and 3-Family homes - 2009.
