Request
I would like to see the data from the Dept of Finance Rolling Sales tables presented in a table that is updated monthly. This would eliminate data gaps presently found in the Rolling Sales tables and would be useful to anyone with an interest in property values in the city. The Rolling Sale tables include the following fields BOROUGH, NEIGHBORHOOD, BUILDING CLASS CATEGORY, TAX CLASS AT PRESENT, BLOCK, LOT, EASEMENT, BUILDING CLASS AT PRESENT, ADDRESS, APARTMENT NUMBER, ZIP CODE, RESIDENTIAL UNITS, COMMERCIAL UNITS, TOTAL UNITS, LAND SQUARE FEET, GROSS SQUARE FEET, YEAR BUILT, TAX CLASS AT TIME OF SALE, BUILDING CLASS AT TIME OF SALE, SALE PRICE, and SALE DATE. In addition to these fields, I would like to see the Grantee and Grantor involved in each sales trans action and if possible, other properties (Borough, Blocks, Lots) that are included in sales that involve more than one parcel.

Here are a couple options that DOF can offer:
1. Open Data Portal
a. Continue to use the ODP rolling sales data (https://data.cityofnewyork.us/dataset/NYC-Citywide-Rolling-Calendar-Sales/usep-8jbt/about_data)
b. To get the grantee/grantor data you will need to join the rolling sales data with the ODP ACRIS datasets
You will need the following datasets: Real Property Master, Real Property Parties and Document Control Codes:
1. Document Control Codes identifies which document types have grantors and grantees for ones that do, maps the party type code (1, 2 or 3) to the grantor and grantee label (although grantors are always party type 1 and grantees are always party type 2)
2. Real Property Master identifies which documents have those document types
3. Real Property Parties gives the names for the documents identified in the previous step
1. DOF Website & Open Data Portal
a. Use the Rolling Sales Data from the DOF webset (https://www.nyc.gov/site/finance/property/property-rolling-sales-data.page#)
b. Join it with the ODC ACRIS datasets (see option 1.b)
