As of now, you have to go into each borough office to review this information on their JDLS system. The JDLS information is delivered through portal to private companies, but everyone should be able to access it.

I am looking for two sets of data, the first is data on green spaces in New York City. I would like to acquire data on green spaces from a few different years if possible. I also an interested in acquiring data on asthma rate levels in various parts of the city.


I am a human geography major at the University of Vermont. For my geospatial technologies class, I am trying to understand how asthma rates in communities living in the neighborhoods encapsulating the South Bronx have been altered by an increase of green spaces in these areas. My hypothesis is that with an increase of green spaces, there has been a decrease in asthma rates, thus encouraging more of this development in the future.

In the Existing Occupancy and Proposed Occupancy columns, you'll see the occupancy classification. (Note: This field is not required for every job.) You're looking for jobs that say "Res". This will indicate hotels and apartments, but it's a broad category that can mean other things too. (See page 19 of our PW1 User Guide for more detail.)

no turn signs - i would like a listing of no right turn and no left turn signs through out the city. gps units frequently suggest making these often illegal turns. i would like to make a gps program that takes them into account. to make traveling safer and ticket free.
