Potential NJ TRANSIT Service Suspension - 5/16

Rail service provided by NJ TRANSIT may be suspended beginning on 5/16 due to a potential rail strike. If this occurs, NJ TRANSIT customers should expect service suspensions along all NJT rail lines, as well as service disruptions along the Metro-North Railroad's Port Jervis and Pascack Valley lines. In order to accommodate passengers, NJ TRANSIT has announced increasing service to numerous bus routes that share close proximity to its rail stations and will be operating park & ride service from four regional locations in NJ. This service will operate weekday AM and PM, peak time and peak direction only, beginning Monday, May 19. Capacity will be limited and should be used for essential travel only.
