Business Description
Cakesnstufff is a woman-owned, minority-owned business built on a deep passion for creativity, community, and craftsmanship. Founded by a first-generation Dominican-American woman, Cakesnstufff represents the strength, determination, and creativity passed down from one generation to the next. My mother immigrated to the United States from the Dominican Republic as a single mother, and her perseverance continues to inspire everything I do as the first person in my family to own and operate my own business.
What began as a home-based bakery has evolved into a multifaceted brand that brings people together through the art of baking and hands-on learning.
At Cakesnstufff, we specialize in scratch-made baked goods crafted with care and attention to detail. Every treat is made using minimal, high-quality ingredients—always fresh, never mass-produced. Our products are known for their balanced sweetness, unique flavor profiles, and beautiful presentation. From cookies and cupcakes to custom desserts, each creation delivers a memorable experience that looks as good as it tastes.
Beyond baking, Cakesnstufff is deeply committed to education and community engagement. We offer a variety of baking and decorating classes for both children and adults, including after-school programs, family workshops, and day sessions. These classes give students the chance to explore their creativity, build confidence, and develop practical skills in a fun, supportive environment.
Working with children is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. I believe every child deserves opportunities that spark imagination, curiosity, and joy—especially experiences that connect art and science. Through our STEM-inspired baking and decorating workshops, students learn about measurement, chemistry, design, and problem-solving in a hands-on, creative way. Our goal is to show that learning can be both educational and delicious.
Cakesnstufff also hosts community-based and family events, such as sip-and-decorate sessions, pop-up classes, and interactive dessert experiences. These events bring families together to create, learn, and make lasting memories.
At its heart, Cakesnstufff stands for inclusion, creativity, and opportunity. My mission is to share the Cakesnstufff experience with as many people as possible—especially children and families who may not always have access to these types of programs. Through every dessert, class, and community event, I strive to celebrate baking, inspire learning, and spread joy one bake at a time.
