I was made to feel comfortable and was given enough one on one time to recall the event. Everyone who spoke to me, from the person who first picked up the phone to my case manager, helped me feel relaxed and was nice. I appreciate that my case manager took the time to help me with the court system and helped me have the time and space to properly recall. She walked with me to make sure that what I was writing down was what I wanted. She followed up and gave me information to contact her whenever I needed support and that was a time I really needed support so it was extremely helpful.
The only downside was the long wait time, but I assume it was because of Covid.

It was right before the pandemic happened and I was supposed to go to family court. I had a consultation with a lawyer but she wasn't taking on any new cases. So the lawyer was super nice and helpful during that time but I would have appreciated a follow up giving more information.

I loved the FJC but I have a problem with how God isn't mentioned. People who have had a traumatic experiences need God. He is the king of kings and I don't like how people aren't allowed to speak about God. People look at me like I have ten heads when I mention that. One of the ADAs told me to not mention God.

Been at the shelter for a few months, it's been a bumpy ride. Management and housing people need to be revetted. I lost my voucher because a housing specialist didn't do paperwork. It was a mess during covid, especially during a quarantine process. People who have mental health issues shouldn't be housed with people who have children there. I was put in danger a few times when I was in shelter.
