Today I received mental health therapy via zoom session
I’ve never done virtual MH therapy; however due to pandemic many things had to be changed or revised due to health concerns I was optimistic but the need for MH was greater than my apprehension
My MH therapist has made this new process as comfortable as possible
I would of preferred to go into an office setting but truly in the short time that I’ve had my sessions I feel my therapists commitment and zeal for her job
Her presence and warmth is felt on my end.
Prior to the pandemic maybe two years ago I had sought out a previous therapist and she indicated that she didn’t have an office space but was doing MH therapy sessions via Skype. I chose not to go that route because it just seem so impersonal. Fast forward to our current situation and it seems like the most logical way to continue supporting individuals with MH services.
Overall I am pleased with my zoom sessions and extremely grateful that because of my therapist expertise and connection with me it’s made me speak positively about virtual sessions

Therapy with (name omitted) is a true blessing. I am incredibly grateful for this service and for her. She is such a knowledgeable, kind and understanding person who is helping me to heal from my trauma, ptsd and overall betterment of self and my life. It is very hard to find support after experiencing something like this, since being offered this service with (name omitted), I feel like I am finally able to start working through these issues. She is really guiding me through all of this and I am deeply grateful!
