Project Description

Renovations would be limited to the interior of the building. The renovated building has been designed to house 50 single adults in a dormitory-style sleeping configuration and is expected to be operational by late 2022. The Facility would employ 28 full-time-equivalent (FTE) employees who would provide services including case management, individual and group counseling, permanency planning and housing placement assistance, referrals to medical and mental health services, support groups, independent living and life skills workshops, residential services to the individuals experiencing homelessness living at the site, security and janitorial services, as well as community relations. The existing building is a one-story building, comprised of a partial basement and a first floor, and approximately 15 spaces of surface parking, located on a 10,625 square foot irregular shaped lot (Block 3230, Lot 1).
