Meeting Summary:
· DBP suggested that Chloe Natacha Int’l Ministries join with the United Clergy Coalition Day of Respect for those who passed from COVID19 scheduled for September 13, 2020 and she agreed to participate
· DBP will ask around and see if she can get artist or someone to perform as entertainment
· DBP made it clear that our office does not have the capacity to put together the event or do the work, but will assist in providing PPE’s giveaways
· Each participating church will provide the following: 1) Board of Elections-Voters Registration 2) 2020 Census 3) Entertainment 4) PPE Giveaway’s 5) Back to School Supply Distributions
· DBP the event should start between 3:00PM to 5:00PM or 3:00PM to 6:00PM to respect the day of worship
· Lori Luis will check into the sound permit for scheduled speakers, performers, and music
· CM Farah Louis will outreach to various churches and CM Laurie Cumbo’s office to see if they would participate and what they can offer, including securing the sound permit
· Various participating churches are doing their own outreach to provide back to school supplies, voter registration and 2020 Census
· DBP will connect Chloe Natacha with someone from the Board of Elections for voter’s registration
Suggested Next Steps:
Chloe Natacha International Ministries:
• Will join the United Clergy Coalition Day of Respect instead of doing a separate event at Grand Army Plaza
• Will send an email 8/26/20 that will include a Project Plan for the 9/13/20 event day activities
• Will do outreach to the neighboring churches to coordinate their efforts together
• Connect with Pastor Monrose to get a list of churches that are participating
• Will contact CM Laurie Cumbo’s office since it is in her district
• Send a plan of the locations that will be utilized during the event for possible street closure
• They have already secured someone to table for the 2020 Census
