For example- looking at the DSNY trash bins: ENTIRELY inaccurate and worthy of attention from the Press: Months of FALSE data (there are reputed to be be bins all over the place and, fact: they are not) My focus, as example: Manhattan, West 136 St between 7th Ave and St Nicholas: the SOLE bin between there, is at St Nicholas because there is a compost bin there as well. Your Data site shows (all summer long) that there are bins at minimum, of 2 corners of FDBlvd and 136. There are Never Ever EVER 2 bins there. In fact, for the last week There Has Been No Bin. And at Edgecombe, there are reported multiple bins on your Open Data Site, which are also NOT— and never!. City Agencies and non-profits rely on your data for the bases of research and this renders data to be null and void, leaving pro-sals based upon them, null and void. This constitutes an egregious fraud upon all invested. I will be following up regarding city agencies who receive funding for these things, the press and the Administration, after I hear (hopefully something of substance) from you. And, actually referring me to start over with another agency, will exemplify how Open Data and 311’s funding might ought to be readdressed. Is anyone minding the store? (screenshotting this :) Hoing for the best, and thank you for your invested attention.
