I was trying to query ACRIS - Real Property Master to get the comp sales figures from a specific building that I am using for sales comps (comparison) purposes, while analyzing sales trends in a specific neighborhood. All I want was to get the DEEDs records (rows) for all units in a specific building in Brooklyn so I could extract the "AMOUNT" fields. So, I do know the Borough code, I know the building and the condo units BLOCK and LOT numbers. In ACRIS I can quickly find DEEDs based on that BBL information, but I would have to go one-by-one, type a different Lot number and do this say 50 times which is very inefficient. So, I thought I could query the ACRIS data set through NYC Open Data. I would create a very simple query to select rows where DOC TYPE = "DEED" and BOROUGH CODE = 3 and BLOCK = XXXX and LOT is (between YYYY and ZZZZ). The problem is I did not see the Block and Lot fields available in this data set. How come you don't have available some of the most important data fields. You do have CRFN but that pulls ONE specific row, so I had to go into ACRIS, manually flip through all 50 lots (units in the building) that I am interested in and record all CRFNs. Then, I had to manually enter 50 CRFNs one-by-one into the query builder filtering condition to get my DEED records. This destroys the whole idea of querying the database efficiently. It seems that you do have BOROUGH, BLOCK, LOT, DOC TYPE and AMOUNT all stored in the same place in ACRIS. How come I do not see Block and Lot fields in the NYC Open Data portal. I even downloaded a full data set in CSV with million rows of data (1.4GB) just to make sure I did not miss anything. Nope, I did not miss anything. The Block and Lot fields don't seem to be available NYC Open Data portal, but they are - in ACRIS!! Please advise. Thanks.

The properties for each document listed in the ACRIS real property master dataset are given in the ACRIS real property legals dataset. The datasets have a one to many relationship and are linked by the shared document id and good through date fields. Please see the documentation for the datasets for more details.
