Inquiry
Dear NYC Open Data Team,
Working with the DOB ECB Violations dataset (https://data.cityofnewyork.us/Housing-Development/DOB-ECB-Violations/6bgk-3dad), we found that current `INFRACTION_CODE1` values don’t align with the 2019 data dictionary (`DD_DOB_ECB_Violations_2019-07-10.xlsx`). Could you please share the **latest code mapping/data dictionary** and confirm the **update cadence**? If there is a DOB Open Data Coordinator, kindly advise.
**Examples of codes not present in the 2019 decode (from recent pulls):**
['B3K','B3R','B47','B43','B2T','B32','B6A','B48','B1H','B7A','B05','B5C', … 'B2C']
**Pattern observed in the 2019 decode:** codes typically start with **“B” followed by three digits** (e.g., below from the decode table):
B179, B279, B379, B2B3, B144, B244, B1B7, B2B4, B2F2, B1G5, B2G5, B1G4, B242, B127, B252, B237, B134, B234, B235, B307.
Please confirm whether the dataset moved to mixed alphanumeric families (e.g., ‘B3K’, ‘K1S’, ‘C3M’) and provide the current specification.
Thank you for your help.
Best regards,
