Bikes in Buildings Requests

The Bicycle Access to Office Buildings Law aims to increase bicycle commuting by providing cyclists with the opportunity to securely park their bicycles in or close to their workplaces. The law allows tenants to request for access from landlords in commercial buildings, and for DOT to monitor the requests for access and their status.

From the 54th Street Entrance, the registered bicycle users must follow the pedestrian ramp up to the Loading Dock platform for screening by Building Security. The bicycle user must present a valid Building Identification Card with the appropriate decal designating them as a registered and autorized bicylce user. After screening the bicycle user shall access the adjacent Freight Elevators.
