The crane must use the lower Roadway on Manhattan Bridge, this approval is not valid for the upper Roadway of Manhattan Bridge. Do not travel over the bridge if the winds exceed 30 mph. The Crane must be escorted by vehicles weighting not more than 5000 pounds, 200 ft behind the crane. The crane is responsible to keep 200 feet behind the flow traffic. Vehicle must occupy two lanes on the bridge.The permitted vehicle must move with speed less than 10 mph, when vehicle is on bridge. It is recommended to maintain same speed and not apply brake when vehicle is on bridge.Any change in the proposed vehicle weight or configuration will not be allowed.
