Swimming Pool Building Regulations

<p>The Department of Investigation Fingerprint Unit fingerprints individuals who work at child care, home care, and family care facilities, including those entities that are under contract with the City of New York. You must be screened for criminal convictions and/or pending criminal actions. All prospective hires must have their fingerprints checked against New York State and Federal criminal records databases. Notifications of arrests in New York State are provided on an ongoing basis for all active employees.</p> <p>Applicants may pay the $122.50 fingerprint processing fee by credit card, (MasterCard, American Express, VISA or Discover) or by Postal Money Order from the United States Post Office made payable to the New York City Department of Investigation (other types of money orders will not be accepted). If you choose to pay with a credit or debit card, you will be charged a fee of 2.49% of the payment. Abandoned Vehicle

Report an abandoned vehicle on public or private property.

<p><b>Public Property</b></p> <p><i>With License Plates</i><br />You can report an abandoned vehicle with at least one fixed metal license plate or in-transit paper registration plate if it has been left on public property for at least 48 hours. Officers from your local police precinct will respond when they are not handling emergency situations. The vehicle's owner will be responsible for all towing and storage fees.</p> <p><i>Without License Plates</i><br />You can report a vehicle without license plates abandoned on a City street or sidewalk. The Department of Sanitation will investigate and tag the vehicle. Once it is tagged, it will be removed within three business days.</p> <p><b>Private Property</b></p> <p>You can ask the Department of Sanitation to remove a vehicle without license plates that was abandoned by someone else on your private property. FDNY is responsible for all reviews and inspections for annual Place of Assembly Permits to ensure Fire Code compliance.</p> <p>You can request an inspection once your Place of Assembly plans have been approved by DOB. It takes about 3 business days to schedule an inspection once the request is received.</p> <p>At the inspection, you must have:</p> <ul> <li>a representative to let the inspectors in; and</li> <li>required documents.</li> </ul>
